FLOORS
Nivell Systems - a simple and flexible system for levelling ceilings, walls and floors, both indoors and outdoors.
Nivell is used to advantage both in new production and renovation of uneven surfaces, problems with mold or the need for sound attenuation.
In close cooperation with Nivell System AB, we provide floors and floor ventilation planning and installation with the unique products of Nivell System. We have several years experience in this area and are certified in class A and B.
A patented and approved under-floor system with ventilation since 1993.

OUTDOOR FLOORS
EASY, FAST AND STABLE
- Rapid installation – few parts facilitate installation
- Secure system from a leading supplier
- Flexible for different soil conditions
- Does not require an even surface
- Does not require cast plinths
- Easily dismantled
- Can be adapted to various surfaces such as tar coatings, metal, stone slabs, concrete, asphalt, rock, wood etc.
- Also suitable for different construction heights
The Nivell outdoor floor consists of pressure-treated joists with pre-drilled holes and threaded UV-protected plastic sleeves fitted inside.
- Nivell outdoor joists are available in the following dimensions: 45x45 mm, 45x70 mm, 45x95 mm and 45x120 mm.
- Nivell outdoor screws are available in lengths of 100 mm, 150 mm, 200 mm and 300 mm.
- Nivell outdoor floors allow construction heights from 50 mm to 386 mm (from upper level of joist).
ACOUSTIC FLOORS
AVOID DISTURBING NOISE
The Nivell System acoustic floor is developed as a top-floor with cushioning fittings that improve floor ventilation and sound insulation, as well as reduce impact sound.
Acoustic floors consist of wooden joists, adjusting screws with resilient bushing and a vertical guide for attachment to the system of joists.
The Nivell system provides a reduction of impact sound of 21-28 db depending on conditions in the building, which can provide Sound Class B on most new concrete floors, as well as many older concrete floors and attic floors.
Flexibility
- Nivell acoustic floors are flexible and enable installations in the air gap
- Maximum installation height is 399 mm (from the bottom edge of the joist)
- Allows for height variations in the system of joists, e.g. a dry low-weight levelling
The damping properties of the screw
- The Nivell unique plastic screw for acoustic floors solely allows vertical movement in the floor
- Material properties and design make vibrations in the floor barely noticeable, thus making the floor stable and comfortable
Partition wall directly on the chipboard floor
Mounting partitions directly on chipboard enables:
- easy installation in the floor
- faster installation
-provides a work-surface during construction time
VENTILATION
CONTROLLED AIR FLOW
The Nivell Floor Ventilation System is tested and well-proven. The system creates a controlled low pressure air flow within the floor. The ventilation system consists of an exhaust fan with an air distribution duct system and air supply filtration devices.
The function is built on room temperature, dry and dust-free indoor air being ventilated in the air gap in the floor.
- The patented and approved solution with mechanical low-pressure ventilation, creates an adjustable, low-pressure air flow in the floor
- It dries out shallow foundation concrete after, for example, water damage or moisture in the building. Evacuation time is shortened and the floor can be installed sooner.
- It prevents odors, gases and emissions from reaching the living area. This can apply to odors and substances from moisture and mold damage, as well as radon and chemical compounds from e.g. putty and glue
- It effectively prevents moisture migration through the concrete shallow foundation from damaging the overlying floor.
Floor constructions that are affected or are at risk of exposure to moisture, moisture movements, old residual odors or emissions must always be ventilated!
Concrete shallow foundation
A concrete shallow foundation can let through large amounts of moisture. A floor mounted on such a construction should always be ventilated. Moisture is a common problem in older houses. However, newly built houses are frequently constructed with poor moisture safety and with too much building moisture left in the construction. With Nivell ventilated floors, a moisture-resistant construction is obtained.
Basement walls
Filled basement walls (masonry or concrete) can be ventilated in the same way as the floor. If parts of the wall are above ground level, this must be taken into account and ensured that the temperature inside the wall is not too low.
Intermediate floor
Upper-storey floors are usually not ventilated. However, exceptions may be the mezzanine floor of a building exposed to water damage, or moisture (arising due to renovations or extensions), or problems with odors and emissions from the system of joists.
